Mary Payton's Miracle Foundation wants to give a big shout out to all of the wonderful, dedicated people in our area who have helped spread awareness for Batten Disease and raise money for our cause. We are so thankful to have you working with us as true "Mary Payton Warriors!"

Team Mary Payton Softball was in a softball tournament in New Orleans on Saturday April 18, 2009 to support "Batting out Breast Cancer."  We are proud to announce that we came in 2nd place!  We are so thankful to our wonderful team for representing us in the battle against breast cancer.

Celebrity Scoop at Ben & Jerry's was hosted April 20, 2009 at the Ben & Jerry's in New Orleans.  Roop Raj was the celebrity scooper.  Also in attendance were the Hornets Honey Bees, Mix 92.3, WDSU, WGNO 26 and Boudreaux from the New Orleans Zephers.  Joe Vigil was interviewed and we are hoping that it will be on the news tonight.  As soon as it comes out, we will post the link.

Tailgatin' with Mary Payton
was hosted on February 20, 2009 in the Carretta's parking lot before the Mandeville Orpheus parade. This event was not sponsored by the Foundation, but by a group of local teens who are doing amazing work to make a difference in Mary Payton's life. They raised over $9,000 which was enough money to buy a special physical therapy bike for Mary Payton.
